The members of CCVGPG can organize and participate in working groups. These working groups fulfill a specific mission related to the application of GIS in the California Central Valley. For example: The Public Land Survey System working group improves and maintains GIS information about corner monuments of the Public Land Survey System. Most of the working groups focus on one or more of the following three (3) activities:

Stockton, California: The Spring 2012 Meeting has been sheduled for Friday, March 16, 2012. The meeting will be held at the SSJID headquarters in Ripon, California. The guest speaker will be Bruce Joffe, who will speak about the licensing of geospatial data by public agencies. Landon Blake will also speak about copyright and licensing agreements as related to geospatial data.
